Dear Piano
Lover,
Do you ever feel like
your piano playing is kind of, well... "choppy"?
I mean, like you play chords or bass notes, but you'd like to somehow
move smoothly between them, playing just the right notes?
It seems like it should be fairly simple, right?
After all, professional pianists - and even some beginning to
intermediate level players - seem to move around the keyboard
effortlessly, gliding between chords and bass notes, and making up
quick melodies from thin air.
Actually, it is simple - and very rewarding - once you learn how to do
it.
But don't worry if it doesn't just come automatically to you, because
there is a "secret sauce" that I've neglected way too much over the
last few years.
"Yes, There IS A 'Secret
Sauce'
For Playing Beautiful Piano"
You see, for the last few
years, I've been teaching people how to play just about any song using
beautiful piano chords.
And I've gotten some great feedback on those lessons, too.
But I really haven't spent much time talking about the "glue" that
holds all those chords together...
...about the underlying structure - the "DNA"
that helps you build those chords in the first place...
...about how to move almost effortlessly between them, and between bass
notes in your left hand.
Until now.
Introducing... Piano
Scales... FAST!
(Order the Online-Only Version Here - No DVDs)
OK, hold on a minute...
I don't know you
personally, but I might be able to guess what you're thinking...
"Ugh, scales! How BORING! They just make me think of endless hours of
practicing those annoying 5-finger piano patterns."
(OK, so maybe that's some of my own piano prejudice coming through :-)
For some reason, I also hear Jack Benny playing that droning
1-3-5-4-3-4-2-3 pattern in my mind whenever I think of scales.
But I'm here to tell you...
...and
listen to me CLOSELY when I tell you this...
Learning To Play - And Really
Internalize - Piano Scales Can DRAMATICALLY Improve Your Piano Playing
VERY Quickly!
I'm absolutely serious
about that.
And I'm not just talking about simple major and minor scales (in fact,
there are THREE different minor scales alone that are each used in
different situations).
In fact, in my video piano course, Piano Scales... FAST!, I
cover 15 other scales that can almost immediately transform your piano
playing.
But let's come back to those boring old major and minor scales for just
a minute...
Because you might be picturing books of piano scales written out in
piano sheet music format for both right and left hands.
And you might also be picturing yourself sitting at the piano patiently
plucking through each note, reading sharps and flats in the music, and
figuring out where each finger needs to go, then slowly increasing your
speed until you're able to play a few scales pretty well.
But did you ever ask yourself... Why?
Sure, it's nice to be more proficient at the piano, but what's the
point of learning a bunch of scales when you just want to play a few
nice-sounding piano chords and make your own simple arrangements of
your favorite songs?
Before I blast that outdated scale-learning model out of the water, let
me suggest why you might want to have at least a handful of scales -
both traditional and advanced - at your fingertips every time you play.
Because, if you're playing a song from a lead sheet - or by ear - and
you're playing in a particular key, chances are there are 2-4 unique
piano scales that will help you move easily between the chords of that
song, create simple left hand bass movements (between the root and 5th
of the chords, for example), "lock in" key signatures faster than ever,
and give you almost endless ideas for improvisation.
And if you like to write some of your own music, the unique sounds that
come from different scales can give you a lifetime supply of fresh
melody ideas and an overflowing palette of piano "colors" to choose
from.
Oh yeah, I mentioned something about blasting that old scale-learning
model out of the water.
I Don't MEAN To Topple The
'Establishment'!
First of all, let me say that I'm not trying to tear down 100's of
years of piano teaching methods.
Everything has its
place, and I've learned some piano skills using those exact methods
myself in the past.
BUT...
There's a very good
chance that:
- You just don't need those thick piano scale
books. In fact, you don't need piano music at all! (Yes, you read that
right.)
- Those methods don't show you the easiest ways
to "speed-learn" those scales and really lock them into your hands and
brain quickly.
- You don't need months or years of lessons and
practicing scales with not much to show for it but the ability to play
the scales you were practicing!
- Those methods never taught you (and may never
will teach you) how to really APPLY those scales to the chords and
songs you like to play.
Look, you could sit down
and memorize every last property of every last element on the periodic
table of elements (remember that one from chemistry class?), but that
does NOT give you the ability to go out and start creating useful or
magical chemical compounds in your garage!
However, if I simply told you to put vinegar and baking soda in a scale
model of a volcano, you would get IMMEDIATE results without having to
know all the science behind it.
In fact, what you would learn (if you didn't already know it) - and all
you really need to know - is that mixing vinegar and baking soda
produces a FAST, foamy reaction, perfect for science projects and
backyard fun.
And that's the only chemistry you'll find in this course, by the way!
:-)
Perhaps learning to type is a better analogy, since it involves a
keyboard and your fingers...
Once you learn to type (if you haven't, and you use the computer a lot,
I highly recommend it!), it's easy to sit down and just let the words
flow from your brain right through your fingertips into the computer
without thinking too much about it.
Sure, some corrections have to be made, but even those are done more
quickly once your fingers know where the backspace key is.
And that's what makes my Piano Scales video piano course so unique.

Why This Piano Scale Course
Is Unique
I teach you how to really internalize the most essential piano scales WITHOUT
relying on piano music or plain old "brain" memory.
I believe it's much
easier and faster to learn and internalize the scales you'll need by
visualizing and feeling their shapes on the piano keyboard. This
engages your "muscle" memory and cements the direct connection between
the scale and your fingers better than any technique I know.
Speaking for myself, sometimes the piano music - notes written on the
grand staff - just gets in the way of really learning - and FEELING -
how to play the piano. Do you know what I mean?
That's why my Piano Scales... FAST! video piano course shows
you
(in over 2 hours of video and over 90 "music-less" scale charts) how to
identify and internalize the shape and fingering of each scale.
And there's a bonus once you learn these techniques...
As you're learning, you're automatically "locking in" key signatures
for use when you're playing.
What I mean is, once you get the F major scale in your fingers, for
example, then whenever you see one flat in the key signature of a lead
sheet, or you simply want to play in the key of F, you're ready to go
with a scale that will get you around the melody and improvisation for
most chords in the key of F quickly and easily.
Here's what you'll learn in Piano Scales... FAST!
|
All the major and minor
scales, pentatonic scales, hexatonic scales - including the blues and
whole-tone scales - octatonic scales, "bebop" scales, and even a few
"weird" scales that may give you some new ideas for your own
compositions. You'll never be at a loss for just the right notes to
play.

|
How to learn scales faster than you ever
thought possible, using my color-coded, "music-less" scale charts to
help you internalize the "shape" of each scale on the piano and in your
fingers. This will dramatically increase your comfort level at the
piano while also improving your overall finger dexterity.
|
|
|
|
The specific chords that correspond to each
scale, so you'll know exactly what set of notes to play for just about
any chord you run across.

My best fingering suggestions, so you can
get up and down the piano keyboard quickly and easily, without your
fingers falling all over themselves. |
The Bottom Line
By now, I hope you've
seen that Piano Scales... FAST! is probably unlike any other scale
reference or piano lesson you've ever seen, because of the accompanying
videos, its emphasis on the shape and feeling of each scale, and it's
de-emphasis of actual piano music for learning scales.
And now - for a limited time - you can grab your copy of Piano
Scales... FAST! - for just
$27 (plus shipping for the DVD/CD version)(But ONLY until this Monday, January 23rd, 2023 at Midnight!)

I'm very serious when I say this scale guide and accompanying videos
could very well be the missing piece that you've been looking for...
that final piece of the piano puzzle... the "magic thread" that can
weave all those piano chords, notes, melodies, key signatures, and
songwriting ideas together into a beautiful piano tapestry once and for
all.

Has To Say After Using My Original, "Professional Piano Chords" Guide:
Sir:
Finding you on the internet was the greatest piano blessing that I have
discovered. Purchasing your product is the BEST MUSICAL INVESTMENT that
I have spent my money on in the last 3 years. And believe me... Over
the past 3 years I have invested literally thousands of dollars in
CD's, Tapes, Books, Music Lessons.
Your program has simplified, what I have exhausted myself searching
for. I am a disabled veteran, so I have much time to practice, study
and research. I literally spend 4 to 5 hours a day practicing on my
Yamaha Piano. For the past 2 years, I have spend $100 each month for
music lessons from a very talented music director. Although he is an
excellent instructor, (I could say musical genius) he sometimes teaches
over my head. (And I consider myself to be intelligent). I have figured
out in 3 hours of disecting your section on 13th Chords, what has
bewildered me with his methodolgy of instruction. Dont get me wrong ..
I have learned a great deal from him, but your program has regenerated
my enthusiasm and has uplifted my spirits and given me great
encouragement.
I finally genuinly feel that there is light at the end of my tunnel. It
all makes sense now. You have filled in the gaps, and I am able to do
this at my pace.
I thank you again, and would highly recommend your product to anyone
that is serious about learning to play music on a keyboard or piano.

And Another Student Who Can Finally Play
What He Only Just Heard Before:
Dear Bill:
Your guide to professional-sounding chords is nothing short of
brilliant! I have been in bands semi-professionally for years as a
singer-guitarist, and now in later years I have enjoyed playing piano
around home as a hobby. Your informative guide is a terrific teaching
tool, but perhaps your follow-up e-mails are even more "key", since
they serve as further incentive for someone to pitch in and get this
stuff learned.
Your information, together with your follow-up program is the best I
have seen in terms of communicating how music works, especially to
those who are intimidated by notes, staffs, clefs, rests, etc. In my
case, I have always been able to "hear" the chords I wanted - now that
I have your book, I am able to play most of them as well.
Thanks, Bill, for sharing this absolutely terrific knowledge.
